Pehchaan, elegance in every pehchaan, is a concept-led design studio, not a day of coordination service. I work with brides, individuals, and brands to design the heritage-inspired story behind a wedding look, colour palettes, garment concepts, and narrative, grounded in Mughal era aesthetics and Pakistani heritage research. Through a guided consultation, I get to know the client's story before shaping a concept around it, moving through discovery, concept development, refinement, and final delivery, so the client walks away with a complete visual concept ready to hand to a tailor, designer, or their own team. Two recent projects show this in practice. Parizad in Bloom follows a flower's lifecycle through four stages: Bud, Blush, Bloom, and Garden, set within an imagined Mughal garden. It traces a quiet unfolding, much like a bride's own journey, from something just beginning to something fully realised. Petals and Pearls was a full rebrand for a small flower bouquet business, logo, brand story, and Instagram presence, all built from the ground up. The desi touch came through subtly, woven into the brand language itself rather than anything visual or obvious, so the identity felt rooted without ever feeling literal.
