As a live wedding painter, I capture the special moments and emotions of your wedding day on canvas in real time. Guests enjoy watching the artwork come to life during the celebration, making it a unique and engaging experience. The final painting becomes a beautiful, lasting keepsake that preserves the magic and joy of your day in a way that photos can’t.
As your wedding day unfolds, you'll allow me the honour of capturing a moment for a lifetime. Each painting becomes a lasting reflection of your celebration and the love you share — an investment in something that holds far more meaning than a photograph alone. How it works: Step 1 — Your consultation Before the wedding, we'll have a collaborative consultation to understand your vision in detail — the atmosphere you'd like captured, the specific moment, whether you'd prefer the ceremony or the reception as your setting, and any other details that matter to you. Step 2 — Arrival and set-up On the day, I arrive 2–3 hours in advance to set up and prepare the scene. This time is also used to take reference photos of the couple, and I begin painting the background so your guests have something visually beautiful to walk into as they arrive. Step 3 — Live painting Once your guests arrive, I share the experience of painting you both live, in real time, as part of the atmosphere of your celebration. Step 4 — Studio finishing As this is an oil painting, I take it home afterwards to make any final touches or changes you'd like. Oil remains wet for some time, so the piece needs up to six weeks to fully dry before a protective varnish is applied and left to cure. Step 5 — Delivery Once fully cured, your finished painting is delivered to you. Pricing: Size option 1: 22 × 16.5 inches — £1,300 Size option 2: 19.7 × 19.7 inches — £1,350 What's included: Pre-wedding consultation to plan your vision, moment, and setting Reference photography on the day Live oil painting throughout your celebration Studio finishing, varnishing, and curing after the wedding Delivery of your finished piece Requirements: A plug socket for chargers and lighting equipment, plus a table and chair for my station. A quiet, well-lit area is ideal, but I'm happy to adapt to whatever space is available. To enquire, send your: Wedding date · Venue or location · The moment you'd love captured Travel and food costs vary by location and will be confirmed at enquiry.
